The problem

Most businesses under a few hundred people run on habit. Spreadsheets three people maintain and nobody documents. Approvals that exist because someone asked for one once. Month-end reporting assembled by hand, late, by whoever is still in the office.

Why now — United Arab Emirates
From 1 July 2027, a UAE invoice that isn’t structured data isn’t an invoice.
Small Business Relief ends. E-invoicing goes live for SMEs in PINT AE format on the Peppol network. Records must survive seven years and be produced within 48 hours on request.
Neither of these is a tax problem. Both are systems problems — and systems take longer to fix than filings.
We are not your tax agent. We are the people who make sure that when your tax agent asks for the data, it exists, it is clean, and it comes out of a system instead of a spreadsheet.

What does HYA Business Management actually do?
HYA is a business process management and business engineering consultancy based in Dubai. We do three things in sequence: map and redesign how work moves through your company, build the software and automation that executes the redesigned process, and put in place the cost control and reporting that tells you whether it is working. Where an entity abroad is involved, we advise on the structure and coordinate the licensed providers who execute it.
What is a Process Audit and what do I get?
A Process Audit is two weeks of business analysis that comes before any software proposal. You get three deliverables: a map of how work actually moves through your business modelled in BPMN, a ranked list of the bottlenecks that cost you most, and a costed plan to fix them in order of return — including an honest answer on whether software is the right fix at all. Scope and fee are agreed before we start, and you own the document whether or not you continue with us.
How is HYA different from a large consulting firm?
Two differences. First, size fit: large consultancies will not take on a company of 20 to 300 people at a price that makes sense, and the ones that will tend to deliver a slide deck. Second, HYA implements. The same people who model the process configure the platform, write the integrations and hand over the documentation. You deal with one senior professional throughout, not a rotating account manager.
Do you sell software licences?
No. HYA is not a reseller and takes no commission from software vendors, which is why we can recommend against buying something. We build and configure systems, and the client owns the configuration, the documentation and the code.
Can HYA set up my company, do my accounting or file my tax returns in the UAE?
No, and we are deliberately clear about it. HYA is licensed for computer programming (6201.00), management consultancy (7020.00), cost control and risk management (7020.85) and human resources consultancy (7490.14). Company formation, accounting, tax filing, payroll processing and PRO services are regulated activities performed by licensed providers. We advise on the structure and coordinate those providers — we do not replace them.
Do you work outside the United Arab Emirates?
Yes. Delivery is from Dubai and the consulting and engineering work travels: a process redesign does not depend on a time zone. We formally track six jurisdictions — the UAE, Italy, Monaco, France, Hong Kong and China — and where a jurisdiction needs someone on the ground we bring in professionals we have worked with for years, while staying accountable for the result.
How much does it cost?
Engagements are scoped and quoted before they start, so you know the number in advance rather than watching a meter. The Process Audit is a fixed scope of two weeks with one senior consultant; build phases are quoted against the plan the audit produces. Tell us roughly what is not working and the first conversation, which is free and takes about twenty minutes, will tell you whether it is something we do.
